MIS-SELLING, MUST READ IF CONSIDERING SUBSCRIBING!
I feel PMG are MIS-SELLING the subscription, you don't get what is advertised on the PMG website. For the club I subscribed to, the PMG website indicates tee times will be unavailable on Saturdays only, however I've been unable to play (the club manager refused PMG members to book manually via the phone too) Tues, Sats & Suns (between 7:30am to 2:30pm) since subscribing (June). PMG weren't aware of being unable to play on Sundays (or Tues), after they investigated with the club manager, PMG responded by referring to T&Cs, section 17, which in summary states PMG & the club can alter the course availability as they wish (i.e. can make the course unavailable as & when they wish throughout the subsciption), this subscription has turned into a 4 day membership (weekdays only), which is no use to someone who works 9-5, Mons-Fri! It's been a couple of months of back & forth with PMG customers services, and their final response is that they don't feel the subscription has been mis-sold (because of T&C, s17) & won't offer a refund (nor any sort of reasonable goodwill gesture)! I'm in my right mind to report PMG to trading standards!
In response to PMG's comments, the points matrix states which days will be unavailable for PMG members (marked with N/A), therefore it's reasonable to believe days not marked with a N/A would be available to play (this is not the case), and this is the only indication as to when the course will be available for PMG members! PMG did offer 5 free flexi-points as a goodwill gesture, however this isn't sufficient for one round of golf, quite insulting really!
I like the idea, and have played my home course twice already, but will have to play almost every round after 1600hrs as for much of the day it would cost 10 points to play earlier. It will therefore not be easy to find groups to join, as they all tend to play earlier. Having said that it will be good value over the year as long as I play late afternoons.

So far this has been a really positive experience for me trying to get back in to golf in an affordable and sensible manner. Also looking forward to being able to use my flex points at another venue.
Excellent arrangement. My partner and I work full time and can only fit one round of golf on a weekend, and hardly ever through the week. This scheme allows us to play on a top class course for a third of the standard membership, and it suits us really well, as we don't have the free time for full club membership.
Did a lot of research around clubs in the area before joining Playmoregolf. Playmore golf offered a convenient, affordable and hassle free opportunity to join a club. So far very impressed with the booking system and availability of tee times. Keep up the good work, please.
This is a great way back in to regular golf. After perviously paying for a membership for years without playing this is a cost effective flexible route to club membership. It allows all the privileges of full membership without all the outlay. Easy to join and immediately benefit from extra points for referring my wife for membership.
Perfect for someone like me who loves the game but is not so fanatical that I have to go four, five or six times a week!
I am about to eat a small portion of humble pie. But that is down to the very professional way Lisa Holt the customer service manager has dealt with my situation at playmore golf. I did not like the approach taken by another employee and reacted to the situation. Hence my previous post. I and 3 of my playing partners have all now renewed our memberships. This is solely down to Lisa and her skills at dealing with a tricky situation. She has understood our concerns with not being able to use our points and has dealt with them to a very satisfactory conclusion. We are now able to use our outstanding points within a realistic timeframe. Many thanks Lisa.
Easy to set up and great choice of courses to pick from

Top fella helped us sort the membership (Torin) and booking is simple! 1st booking done within minutes of signing up!!
tried to sign up and contacted them via their chat online. Kevin came onto the chat but couldn't be bothered to answer any of my questions so I left after having not had any replies. I wont be joining if they cannot even get past this stage
